These things vary in how good a job they do. If you have a real serial port, I would start out with the native serial cable only and make sure the receiver is set to for the first attempt. Only time will tell if I have the crash problem as reported by others in v5. The problem lies in the fact that your built-in GPS is incapable of having the baud rate modified to the required I am running Mobile PC v5.
